At one point a man and woman sleep together, her bare back is shown when he removes her shirt but there's no nudity. Afterwards they briefly talk of breasts while still in bed the next morning. WebHe's very good at dropping the self-deprecating one-liners, but, other than that, there's not much to the performance. He is constantly being upstaged by supporting players, particularly Ifans and Emma Chambers, who plays William's ditzy sister, Honey. Notting Hill is not without its pleasant moments.

The movie is bright, the dialogue has wit and intelligence, and Roberts and Grant are very easy to like. By the end, as much as we're aware of the ancient story machinery groaning away below deck, we're smiling. I have, however, two quibbles. The first involves the personality of Grant's character. WebThis film has a romantic worldview, certainly not Christian. Some bad language and sexual talk and situations. Not for kids, maybe okay for morally well-grounded teens of older age.
