INDICATIONS AND USAGE Cefazolin for Injection USP is a cephalosporin antibacterial indicated in the treatment of the following infections caused by Web0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, Sterile Water for Injection or Bacteriostatic Water for Injection. The 1 g and 2 g vial should only be reconstituted with Sterile Water for Injection or Bacteriostatic Water for Injection. Cefazolin-AFT should be injected into a large muscle mass. Pain on injection is infrequent with Cefazolin- AFT.
